Privacy Policy

When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and a payment reference. We never receive or store your full card number.

When you create an account: your name and email address.

When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you put in the message.

Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.

To take payment, make and deliver your order, email you about it, handle returns and support, keep accounting records we are legally required to keep, and prevent fraud.

Where the UK/EU GDPR applies, our lawful bases are performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, keeping the store secure and working).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Only the service providers needed to run the store, and only what each one needs:

• a payment processor, to take and secure payment;
• a production and fulfilment partner, which receives your name and delivery address in order to make and despatch your order;
• shipping carriers, to deliver it;
• an email provider, to send order and support email;
• hosting and database providers, which store the order record;
• an authentication provider, if you create an account.

These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter and any follow-up.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Exercising these rights will not get you worse treatment.

California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, ask for deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.

Email support@siltwear.com to make a request. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

We use only what is strictly necessary to run the store — keeping your cart in your browser, keeping you signed in, and security measures our payment processor sets to prevent fraud. These do not require consent.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to decline without losing access to the store.

This store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy materially we will update the effective date above and, where required, tell you directly.
